Desire

On Desire, the Polish soprano Aleksandra Kurzak demonstrates her move away from the bel canto repertoire for which she is best known, and towards later 19th-century repertoire by the likes of Verdi, Puccini and Tchaikovsky. She sings a selection of music from heavier roles including Adriana Lecovreur, Tosca and Rusalka, all with the support of the Morphing Chamber Orchestra Vienna and Frédéric Chaslin.
