J.S. Bach: St. Matthew Passion, BWV 244

Twenty years after their first recording of the work, the legendary Baroque performers Masaaki Suzuki and Bach Collegium Japan return to Bach's St Matthew Passion. In the interim period, they have recorded almost all of Bach's choral music, including the complete cantatas. The singers include Benjamin Bruns and Carolyn Sampson. Gramophone Award 2020.
