Rachmaninov: Piano Concerto No. 2 & Symphonic Dances

Two beloved Rachmaninoff works are the focus of this Warner Classics album by South Korean pianist Dong Hyek Lim. He performs the Piano Concerto No. 2 with the BBC Symphony Orchestra and Alexander Vedernikov. The second work is Rachmaninoff's final composition, the Symphonic Dances – here performed in the composer's own transcription for two pianos. Lim is joined for this by his mentor, Martha Argerich.
