Vox Humana

Cellist Isang Enders’ album Vox Humana features French music that spans four centuries, with Claude Debussy as its focal point. The French composer’s Cello Sonata, as well as several arrangements of smaller works, are contrasted to music by Nadia and Lili Boulanger, Stravinsky, Messiaen, and the baroque composer Marin Marais. For these variously arranged works Enders is joined by musicians including pianist Sunwook Kim and guitarist Sean Shibe.
