We’ve asked Sébastien Daucé to introduce a famous place: the Louvre palace - but not with pictures, drawings or sculpture as you can find there now. Instead, we will go back in time, from today’s museum to the court of the Sun King, of his father Louis XIII, of the Italian prime minister Mazarini, to hear the gems of music of this “Grand siècle”, in the heart of the French courtyard: music played in the “salons”, sacred and extraordinary!
