Maggio Musicale / Mehta / Kavakos: Berg and Schubert
Join us in the IDAGIO Global Concert Hall for an exclusive concert, streamed live from the Teatro del Maggio Musicale in Florence, Italy. Greek virtuoso violinist Leonidas Kavakos joins Zubin Mehta and the Orchestra del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, as soloist for Alban Berg's haunting Violin Concerto of 1935, dedicated "To the memory of an angel". This Viennese-themed programme also includes Franz Schubert's "Tragic" Symphony No. 4, D 417.
