Spectrum Concerts Berlin - Brahms's Sextets for Strings
Join us in the IDAGIO Global Concert Hall for a spectacular exclusive concert event streamed live from the Teldex Studios in Berlin.
Johannes Brahms's String Sextets were his first published pieces of chamber music for strings, and became instantly popular. Together with his German Requiem, the String Sextets were the works that first heralded Brahms's later success.
Founded by cellist Frank Sumner Dodge in 1988, Spectrum Concerts Berlin performs chamber music ranging from baroque and classical to 20th century and contemporary works, featuring a number of renowned soloists and first-chair musicians. Spectrum Concerts Berlin has recorded extensively for the Naxos label.
