Global Concert Hall
Maggio Musicale / Mehta: Webern, Dalbavie and Schubert
Join us in the IDAGIO Global Concert Hall as Zubin Mehta continues his Schubert cycle with the Orchestra del Maggio Musicale, streamed live from Florence. The concert features the "Great" C major Symphony – Schubert's triumphant final work in the genre – which is contrasted with concentrated power of Anton Webern's Six Pieces for Orchestra op. 6. The programme is completed with the premiere of Marc-André Dalbavie's Chansons populaires pour voix et petit ensemble, featuring contralto Sonia Prina.
