About this event
Live from Rome, Daniele Gatti conducts the Orchestra dell’Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in a pair of concerts celebrating the Austrian musical landscape, from Haydn and Beethoven to Mahler, with Austrian baritone Markus Werba as soloist.
In the second of two Global Concert Hall programmes in January, the Coro dell’Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia joins orchestra and conductor for Haydn's rarely performed The Tempest, and Markus Werba offers a further selection from Mahler's remarkable Songs from Des Knaben Wunderhorn. The concert concludes with one of the most celebrated depictions of nature in the repertoire: Beethoven's glorious "Pastoral" Symphony.
Your ticket purchase will directly support the participating artists through IDAGIO’s Fair Artist Payout Model: IDAGIO pays 80% of the net revenue directly to the performers.
