NEXT GENERATION - Trondheim Intl Chamber Music Competition 2021 Final Round

Trondheim International Chamber Music Competition is bringing talent and ambition to Trondheim. Young musicians from all over the world are ready to give their best, convincing the audience and jury who is the best of the best of chamber music talents. They know that a prize in the Trondheim Competition is a guarantee for entry into the top echelons of chamber music performance. Previous prize winners include the Danish String Quartet, Quatuor Van Kuijk and the Maxwell Quartet.
The three 2021 finalists will perform the Italian Serenade by Hugo Wolf and choose from a selection of quartets by Beethoven, Schubert and Dvořák.
Jury: Chairman Levon Chilingirian (Chilingirian SQ), Nina Lee (Brentano SQ), Geir Inge Lotsberg (Oslo SQ), Leonard Disselhorst (Vision SQ), Henninge Båtnes Landaas (ex Vertavo SQ), Marianna Shirinyan (piano) and Frederik Øland (Danish SQ).
The Competition is part of Trondheim Chamber Music Festival, an innovative festival attracting attention from all over the world, and praised in the international press such as the Financial Times and BBC. All jury members perform at the Trondheim festival.
Your ticket purchase will directly support the participating artists through IDAGIO’s Fair Artist Payout Model: IDAGIO pays 80% of the net revenue directly to the performers.

Voting will conclude on Friday, 24 September at 8pm CET.
