Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart: Le Nozze di Figaro
About this event
In this comical opera about Figaro’s wedding day to his bride-to-be Susanna, Mozart uncovers the prevailing intrigues and machinations of nobility during his time. This deliberate provocation could have cost Mozart more than simply his career, but today the opera is regarded as one of his most important and popular creations – a persiflage of aristocracy and a comedy about the love lives and philandering of aristocracy back then.
