11th International Stanisław Moniuszko Vocal Competition - Auditions with Piano, Part Two
About this event
Organized by the Polish National Opera, the International Stanisław Moniuszko Vocal Competition is the greatest vocal Competition in Poland. It began 30 years ago, in 1992, by Maria Fołtyn - a star of opera stages, legendary Halka and a tireless promoter of Stanisław Moniuszko's work.
The prestige of the Competition was confirmed by its admission to the World Federation of International Music Competitions in 2019. Every three years, young artists from different continents gather in Warsaw to present their talent in front of eminent representatives of the music profession. The success achieved here becomes an important step towards an international career for many of them.
Outstanding artists, such as Aleksandra Kurzak, Urszula Kryger, Małgorzata Walewska, Mariusz Kwiecień, Olga Busuioc, Jakub Józef Orliński, Ewa Tracz, Joanna Zawartko, Long Long, Gihoon Kim, Ruslana Koval and Andrzej Filończyk are among the previous winners and finalists of the Competition. 112 participants from 6 continents and as many as 28 countries will compete on the Competition stage.
