A Percussive Sound Caleidoscope
About this event
Contemporary percussion compositions by Gene Koshinski, John Psathas, and Per Andreasson meet compositions from the KUG. KUG percussion students from the classical music and jazz programs will be performing. In various formations, from solo to duo to a large percussion ensemble, they will bring a rhythmic kaleidoscope to the MUMUTH stage. For a combined percussion ensemble, KUG jazz percussion professor Chris Smith and KUG student Elias Pivec contributed the work "Senses - 3 movements for Percussion & Solo Percussion". Both are also among the musicians performing this evening at abo@MUMUTH.
