Collegium Novum Zürich & Emilio Pomàrico: Wondrous Soundscapes
About this event
Collegium Novum Zürich makes its Global Concert Hall debut with an hour-long work by the Italian composer Pierluigi Billone, one of the most innovative and individual sound researchers of our time. 'FACE' – for female voice, 11 musicians and electronics – invites our ears to wander through wondrous soundscapes and far-off spheres, creating an irresistible auratic energy. Billone’s piece is like a ritual, requiring instead of analytical listening a healthy dose of open-mindedness to immerse oneself in other musical dimensions. The performance, the Swiss premiere of the work, is conducted by leading contemporary music interpreter Emilio Pomàrico in the inspiring surroundings of a former hydropower plant at the heart of Zurich.
Your ticket purchase will directly support the participating artists through IDAGIO’s Fair Artist Payout Model: IDAGIO pays 80% of the net revenue directly to the performers.
