About this event
For their second concert in the Global Concert Hall, the London Symphony Orchestra are joined by their Principal Guest Conductor Gianandrea Noseda in a concert streamed live from LSO St Luke’s in London. Elizabeth Winters’s Sudden Squall, Sudden Shadow, inspired by Japanese poet Yosa Buson’s haiku, begins the programme, followed by Bruno Maderna’s playful Music of Gaity. The concert concludes with Haydn’s delightful Sinfonia concertante in B flat major and Shostakovich’s Chamber Symphony in C minor.
